SIS's hopes to connect capital and support with communities, to make measurable and sustainable impact upon people's lives. As a social enterprise and charity ourselves, our team understand the challenges, demands, and opportunities of finance in the social sector.

Since our founding in 2001, we've invested £82 million in 390+ organisations across the country. Our funds have grown to cater for loans from £10,000 to £1.6 million, and now also include an equity option through our impact investment arm, SIS Ventures.

• Our loan funding can be used for a range of flexible purposes including growing the business, working capital, buying an asset, property refurbishment or bridging the gap between the initial spend and receiving a grant that is paid retrospectively.
• Loans from SIS exist to support impactful organisations who hope to grow or sustain their impact. There are no application forms and it all starts with a chat; over the phone, via email or in person. 
• We support organisations through their journey of taking on social investment and offer a range of workshops and masterclasses to help them develop the skills needed to grow and thrive in the future.
